Amplify a signal
Itīs usual when you work with audio that you need to amplify the signal at a certain point of the circuit. We have designed a quite simple amplifier with an operational amplifier and a small set of components. You donīt have to expect hi-fi but thatīs enough for a lot of applications.
This is the schematic:
Note: As you can see thereīs a mistake in the pin headers labels. The input is connected to the pin headers named "OUT" and the same for the output. This is a permanent error in our boards that we will solve in the next version of emi boards.
You can modify the amplifier gain with a potentiometer at pin headers "MIC". We reccomend you a 1M ohms potentiometer to get enough gain close to 200.
In this case we are using a LM358N amplifier but you can try with another similar.
