Mixing two signals
You can sum two signals using an operational amplifier in a summing configuration.
This circuit mixes two signals with the same gain. If you donīt want to clip the resulting signal (or maybe you want...) you have two reduce the amplitude of the signals with a potetiometer or a resistor before the mixer.
In the schematic configuration the formula for the output signal is:
Vout = V1 + V2
But the general formula is:
Vout = R1 x (V1/R4 + V2/R5);
This means that if R1 is not he same as R4 or R5 you can define different gains.
We propose using an LF353N as your operational amplifier but you can try with other models and manufacturers.
